Education RequirementsIn addition to the minimum requirements above, the Sr. Controls Engineer should have knowledge of the following specific controls systems topics: 1. PLC Control 2. Interpreting control strategies and logic, programming and/or configuration capabilities with interfacing systems. 8. Data transfer knowledges that maximizes throughput to ensure efficiency and reliability. 9. Networking software products (e.g., I/O / DA servers) Kepware. 10. Network topology and protocols, physical media specifications (e.g., copper, fiber, RF,) 11. Interfacing and gateways, data mapping , analyzing throughput to ensuring data integrity 12. Industrial wireless configuration and troubleshooting 13. Develop and improve Human Machine Interface (HMI) and reporting functions in accordance with the design documents in order to meet the functional requirements. 14. HMI software products such as Intouch, Wonderware Industrial Application Server, Factory Talk, PanelView, and Ignition, alarming schemes and report configurations, presenting data in a logical and aesthetic fashion, creating intuitive navigation menus,documenting configuration and programming, interpreting functional description. 15.
